St Huberts, The Stag: Long Live The Wild

To celebrate St. Hubert's The Stag's initiative to plant 100,000 trees, I helped them develop a biodegradable billboard that was designed to not only spread the news but also plant trees. The billboards were made of AirSeed's secret plant-pellet substrate and designed to degrade naturally back into the surrounding environment.

I thought it was important for the film that we could communicate the idea visually and succinctly. So, we sacrificed one of our biodegradable billboards to be eroded with stop frame animation.

The film was shot at Winton Wetlands (Victoria, Australia), which was a beneficiary of the AirSeed/Stag tree-planting initiative. It was 40° hot and the billboard was broken down using angle grinders.
