Client Coopers Brewery / Agency Special Group, Australia / Film & Project Direction Paul Bruty for The Glue Society / Production Company Revolver

To bring Coopers' brand platform, 'Forever Original' to life, I was approached to help Special Group create a national campaign of one-off billboards and films. No artwork was used more than once across the entire campaign.

Each billboard and screen featured an image of a single beer created in an original way. I was tasked with the curation, direction and origination of hundreds of artworks. I designed a tiered production approach utilising direct artist commissions, workshops, photographic-partners and my own artworks. I also directed the suite of 'Originator' films that supported the outdoor campaign.

The collaboration with the Special crew, cinematographers, photographers and all the other artists was testament to the health of Australia's brilliant creative community. As well as curating the project and directing the campaign films, I had the joy of creating over 60 artworks for the campaign – some of which can be seen below.
